Pin map of record: KG3 nl4-spi wire standard. Pin 1+ and 1− carry power + data, 2− is ground, 2+ stays empty. Both leads are wired identically (straight through): the IN lead receives from the controller or previous segment, the OUT lead passes to the next segment. Ferrule every conductor at screw-terminal ends.
Handling
- Cut only on a 50 mm pixel boundary. Pixel counts are always rounded up, never down.
- Data flows one direction: DATA IN lead from the controller or previous segment, DATA OUT lead to the next segment.
- Pin 2+ is left empty on every NL4. Never land anything on it.
- Coil at 300 mm minimum radius. No kinks, no tight folds at the lead entry.
- Rope caps and lead entries are potted. Do not pierce the jacket for rigging; use the KG3 rigging rings.
